Her Voice “Poem”

Her voice echoes in my ears today

I was making gyros at Busch boulevard

She lives somewhere near at Busch

A customer ordered something I forgot

I got lost in her voice

Her voice was Her voice

My heart fades away

Her voice

Oh her voice

Her voice was this I wondered

Her voice or ecstasy

What to make of her voice

Life or death

Sense or sensibility

Love or hate

What if it’s Her voice?

What if it is Her?

Numbed for a second was I

Stones among the stones was I

I couldn’t say anything

She comes to the window and I saw

That was not her my fate is against me

Years will I see her or write poetry

Where is she?

I resumed my labor’s

Her voice still echoes

In my words is Her voice

In my breaths is Her voice

Her voice oh my Lovers Voice
