Fireworks “Poem”

On streets and in yards and in front of houses

Little kids and their care takers

Motorcyclists and young and old cheerful

Celebrating independence from colonists

Oh America what freedom in air I breath

Fireworks here there fill the sky like stars

Sounds and bombardments are echoes of freedom

I sit by my house with American friends

We Smoke hookah and discuss great American Revolution

Keep the spirits high this country belongs to all

They said to me we don’t care “Ali”

Where you from or what you believe

We support you and you can start from nothing

Start from nothing And be anything

This is what America is all about

This is what all these fireworks all about

You are an artist Ali they said

We love your poetry and your passion for philosophy

We cheer our drinks and I said “long live America”
