Her Broken Promises “Poem”

Her broken promises comes like the cool wind late at night

She snatched the ring from my hand

She kissed me and said

I am the promised one for this ring

She exclaimed “I love you”

I answer not but felt it

She then disappears like a ghost

Where is she?

What about all the promises?

How can she let all go?

A lair was she or a nightmare

Love not a women O men of ego

Every night becomes intolerable

I am a martyr of a love story not finished yet

Long gone days and her broken promises

Trust not mere words like magic

A notorious devil whispers

She played with my heart like a toy

Her mother comes in the way like a sun rise during rain fall

O poor poet’s heart finish your love story in a novel

Kill her in the storyline for better or worst

Let this new Romeo be resurrected O Shakespeare
